Unbelief the Thief, Part 4

One day John the Baptist called Herod out on his sin, this caused Herod to arrest John. Pastor Jeff will show us today, although Herod heard John, and even enjoyed his council, he never believed John’s message. Doubting the Word’s and warnings of God has deadly consequences, no matter who you are. This is the conclusion to the 4 part series, “Unbelief the Thief.

One of the great strategies of the enemy is doubt. Doubting causes all kinds of problems in the Christians life. When we doubt we are basically saying God can’t handle my circumstance. And on today’s show Pastor Jeff will encourage us that we can strengthen our faith by listening and hearing Jesus through His Word. Today we are in the Gospel of Mark chapter 5 picking up with pastor Jeff at verse 36. When we consider death it seems so finale. If that were the case there would be no hope in this world. And there are billions living in this world like this, with out hope. Today we will see there is hope, and that hope is found in Jesus Christ. There was a man who thought all hope was lost until Jesus went to his home. This is the conclusion to the series titled, “Victory over Sin and Death”.

We are continuing on today in our series about Christ’s authority over sin and death. Many people thronged Jesus in order to be healed. There are 2 people in particular today that we are looking at. A woman who bled for 12 years, and a man who had a 12-year-old daughter. Both these two placed their trust in Jesus, and the results were amazing. This is the series, “Victory over Disease and Death”

On the other side of the Jordan the whole nation of Israel where promised a possession from God. Some however chose not to receive the blessing God had for them. As Christians we are also promised an inheritance from the Lord, Eternity with Him. But many choose not to go the way of the Lord, and settle for second best, the here and now. But, with every choice there is a consequence. This is the conclusion of the series, “Don’t Settle for Second Best”

Jeremiah 29:11 say’s, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.” It is true God wants only the best for you. We will learn an important lesson about the demonic forces and what they want for you, and how they were able to influence the tribes Israel, that didn’t heed to what God wanted for them. This is the second half of “Don’t settle for Second Best” from Mark Chapter 5.

The bible says that faith comes by hearing, and that by the Word of God. But the disciples weren’t listening to Jesus. They didn’t have spiritual ears on. Jesus told them, “Lets go to the other side of the sea”. That should have meant to them, they would make it safely. But Pastor Jeff will show them that Jesus set this whole scenario up for them to teach the about faith. This is the conclusion to the study titled, “Teaching Faith, Testing Faith”.
