Even in rebellion and rejection, God still extends His hand down to mankind. He is a God of Love and He is not willing that any perish but that all come to repentance. Revelation talks about a great feast that will happen in Heaven; it's called the marriage supper of the Lamb. This feast is for all those who put their trust in Christ and are now apart of the bride of Christ. But there's another feast in Revelation; it's a grotesque event where the birds of the air will feast on those who took the 666 mark of the beast. Satan's agenda is revealed in 1 Peter 5:8. It says "your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." Knowing this we should be alert against our enemy and stand upon God's Word which is able to get us through any situation. The Bible says "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. And in everything give thanks: For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." James also builds on this thought when he says "count it all joy when you fall into various trials." But can a Christian really have joy in the middle of hardships? Pastor Jeff will give us practical and insightful application today on Sound Doctrine.

Romans 8:28 famously declares that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." And although it may be hard to see within the storms of life, we can stand firm upon God's promises towards His children.

However we can find encouragement because He is with us in the middle of the storms of life. Although they don't feel good, trials and hard times shape the Christian. In fact the book of James says "count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Today we'll continue our study in Acts 27 and learn that God is in control in the midst of our struggles.
