The Redeemed of The Lord, Part 2

Without Christ: we are a lost possession, but Jesus came to redeem us and we were bought with His precious blood. Today we will continue with part 2 of our study called "Redeemed of The Lord", and we are reminded that only Jesus is worthy.

Some think Heaven will be a long boring church service. This is a sad lie the enemy has whispered in the ears of men and women. The biblical persepective on heaven is one of giving glory and honor to Jesus, the only one who is worthy. And we must keep in mind the truth of the scripture, which says, "In Gods presence there is fullness of joy."

2 Corinthians 4:18 says, "the things that are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." On todays program, we will look into the things that are eternal and get a concrete and biblical perspective on Heaven. There are many misconceptions on Heaven, but the Word of God provides us with the real truth.

Jesus said in Revelation 22:20 "Surely I am coming quickly." This is a great hope for Christians, and historically we are at the brink of his coming. Today we conclude our study on this amazing even called "The Rapture", and Pastor Jeff encourages us to keep our eyes on Jesus in these dark days.

Life is filled with choices. We have a choice to follow God and His Word, or follow the enemy and the world. It should be an easy choice; but the further we got without following God, the blinder we become. Today Pastor Jeff says not to procrastinate with the decision to follow Christ.

Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot seve God and mammon." Though the church of Laodicea was materially rich, they were spiritually poor. Today we are reminded that there is no profit in gaining the whole world if we loose our soul.

Of the seven churches in Revelation, the church of Laodicea is in the worse condition. They were complacent and spirtually lukewarm, and the Lord has nothing good to say about them. Characteristically this church is still with us today. And as time goes on, it becomes more evident that we are turly in the Last Days.
