The Need for Evangelism, Part 3

Today, Pastor Jeff is wrapping up a study about the importance and necessity of evangelizing. The Apostle Paul was greatly burdened for the Jewish people. He desired that they would repent and turn to Christ. Do you have the same desire for America or your neighbors? After listening to today message perhaps prayerfully, you will! Today, we are completing Romans Chapter 9. Jesus declared that the gate, and road to eternal life was narrow, and small. He said that there were few on it. But the pathway to destruction or hell was broad and many were on it! So why on earth would any one take that route? Pastor Jeff will explain more on this in the conclusion to his study titled, “One Way To Heaven-His Way.”

Childhood for many may have been a bad experience because of their fathers. But Jesus who is full of love and mercy declared, “If you have seen me, then you have seen the Father.” As Christians we have a dependable Father in Heaven who loves us.

As Christians we don’t just simply have a God who saved us, but it’s much deeper than that, we are his children and he is our Father. He also becomes our example as of as fathers should raise there children. Today Pastor Jeff teaches that though our earthly fathers may have failed us, our Heavenly Father never will. Living in America we have all heard the argument and saying, “Your truth is your truth, and my truth is mine”. This is a false belief system. Pastor Jeff is teaching that there is no one else who died for you except Jesus Christ. Through Him and Him alone can we enter eternal life! Today, we are completing a very encouraging study from Romans chapter 9. Before God created you, He designed you to be a vessel of glory for His praise. Unfortunately, people can become discontent with there position in Christ. But today, Pastor Jeff will teach us Gods purpose will be worked out through us, and its better than what we could have imagined on our own. The bible teaches that we are all members of the body of Christ. Some are a hand while others are a foot. God has chosen to position you and gift you for His purposes and glory. Today on Sound Doctrine, Pastor Jeff is continuing in his study from Romans ch. 9, and we are learning we shouldn’t question, or command Him. He’s the artist we are the creation.

The bible teaches us that God formed man from the dust of the earth. It can be said that God is a creative artist. If He is the sculptor then we are the clay.
