Do you fear death? Are you in bondage to it? Well, there is deliverance in Christ. He came to deliver us, not only from the fear of death, but from all fears. Put your trust in Him today, and experience true freedom. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is without argue, the biggest event in all of history. Without it, Christianity has no value, but because of it, Christians have purpose, and hope.

Did you know that there is a distinction between the earth and the world? The earth is a beautiful creation of God, and there is no harm in having a love for it. But depending on where you look in scripture, the term "world" can mean a "system" that is opposed to God.

2,000 years ago, our humble King Jesus, rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, presenting Himself as Messiah and King. The people around cried out “Hosanna”, which means “Save now!” But sadly, these same people would shout, “Crucify Him!” only a few days later.

On that first Palm Sunday, some of the people chose to turn away, and reject Jesus as their Savior. This Palm Sunday, God gives us the same choice. We can either choose to receive or reject His Son. In todays program, Pastor Jeff will encourage, and challenge us to take the path of reception. Weather you choose to receive or reject Him today, the results will have an eternal impact on your life.

The Word of God is alive. It has the power to speak to us individually every time we read, or hear it. But pastor Jeff says, we have a choice, to either accept or reject it. In Zechariah, Chapter 9 verse 9, we find a powerful prophecy concerning the coming of the Messiah, making His entrance by way of a donkey. Hundreds of years later, Jesus would fulfill this prophecy, by presenting Himself as the Messiah to the people of Israel, in what is known as the triumphal entry.

In our journey through 1 John, we are learning the importance of Christian growth. In the physical realm, growth usually occurs without much effort on our part, but such is not the case with spiritual growth. The Christian life has many things in common with physical life. There are different stages in both physical life, and spiritual life. But it is only through “growth” that one passes from one stage to another.

1 Corinthians 13 is often identified as the Love Chapter, and in verse 4 we read, “Love suffers long, and is kind”. This is God’s Love. If we want to experience and give out this kind of Love, we need to walk in His light. The more we walk in the light, the more Love we can give out.
