Religious Deception, Part 1

Thanks for joining us on Friday’s edition of SD. Today, Pastor Jeff Johnson is teaching on the dangers of religion. Its been said that religion is mans best attempt at reaching God. Perhaps this has been you, trying to come up with ways to please God by works and traditions. Pastor Jeff will explain the bible doesn’t teach this, and how this mindset has deceived many in a series called, “Religious Deception” from Romans chapter 2.

However, there are many who think because they give their time, money and deeds; this is an automatic to gain eternal life. But the bible doesn’t teach that. But the comfort for the Christian is when he stands before God on that day, he will be found in the righteousness of Christ, and not his own. Today we pick up with Pastor Jeff in Romans chapter 2 verse 10 and he will gives us the conclusion to his message called “Judged According to Deeds.”
