Praying for Others, Part 1b

The church is the bride of Christ! We are not individuals; we are one body. We need each other. As we work together, pooling our prayers and spiritual gifts, God works in mighty ways through the church. Pray for the Lord to stir up the body of Christ to become prayer warriors for Him.

Are you weak when it comes to prayer? Sometimes we find ourselves stumped in the face of prayer. We don’t know how to ask the Lord for the things we need. But all we have to do is come humbly before Him. He will give us the words to say, and He will provide everything we need.

Sadly, our nation today is in the middle of a spiritual famine. People “talk the talk,” but don’t truly love the Lord or follow His Word. Instead they place a priority on earthly goods. Here, Pastor Jeff reminds us of the importance of putting on Jesus. When we receive Him, we are beyond the reach of the world and its material riches.

With God’s armor, every part of our body is protected. Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper. And every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment God shall condemn.” Put your eyes on the Lord, trust Him, and He will always give you victory.
