Without Christ we are already defeated. The Bible contains every single thing we need to gain victory over Satan. We must study God’s Word carefully so that we know how to use these weapons against the evil one!

What happens when everything starts falling apart, and you just can’t handle it? Glory in your weakness, because then you can rely on God, and He is stronger than we can ever be. Our worship and reliance on Him gives us strength — it is a weapon against the enemy!

When God calls upon you, do you question Him, or do you cast your net on the other side? There is no limit to what God can accomplish through us if we just listen. He only asks that we have faith. Studying God’s Word strengthens our faith; so don’t neglect it!

Too often, we say, “I’ll pray about it,” and then we procrastinate rather than making a decision. Pastor Jeff warns us against using prayer as an excuse! We need to step out in faith, as the children of Israel who crossed the Red Sea on dry land.

Pastor Jeff counsels believers to be aware that life is a battleground! Our fights are not against physical enemies; they’re against spiritual enemies. Don’t become so overwhelmed with other responsibilities that you forsake your spiritual armor.

Have you ever received the baptism of the Holy Spirit? When God pours His Spirit out onto us, He awakens our spiritual gifts and gives us a joy and excitement for Him that can’t be replaced by anything else. Pastor Jeff encourages us to seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit, to grow in the Word, and mature spiritually in order to combat the fiery darts of the wicked.

As we finish up the first part of our study on Satan’s strategies, Pastor Jeff challenges us to be aware of how we come across to other people. Don’t alienate unbelievers from Christianity by your actions. At the end of the day, are you attracting people to join God’s army? Allow Christ to shine through your every action.
