Our God Is Able, Part 2

There's nothing we can do that will take us out of God's Love. And although we have many shortcomings, God is able to present us faultless, because of the perfection of Jesus. Today, Pastor Jeff says, "God will guard those who belong to Him." Are you a child of God? It's as simple as putting your full trust in Jesus Christ.

The Bible says, "God is able to do exceedingly abundantly aboe all that we ask or think". As we near the end of our study through Jude, he seeks to place our eyes directly on Jesus, and reminds us that our God is Able. Pastor Jeff begins his message today in Jude 24, next on Sound Doctrine.

Galatians 5:22 describe the fruits of the Holy Spirit in ones life. When we apply these to our lives, we mature, and God is able to freely use us as He see's fit. On todays program, Pastor Jeff says "we need the Spirit to rule and reign in our hearts" so that we can encourage and build up one another with the Love of God.

God's Love is the greatest gift a Christian can express. Without Love, our witness is tainted. Today, Pastor Jeff resumes his message in Jude, and says "Being filled with God's Love, will give us insight on dealing with difficult situations.

Christianity's earliest records of persecution can be found in the book of Acts. There we read of a man named Saul of Tarsus, who led in the persecutions. But when Saul was converted, all of the Christians rejected him, except for a man named Barnabas. Today, Pastor Jeff encourages us to be compassionate as Barnabas was, because when we are compassionate, we are a greater witness of God's Love and Grace.

God has chosen us to represent Him on earth. Each and every day we interact with individuals who don't know the Lord. Don't be liable for these souls! We should be excited to spread Christ's Love to others.

Have you ever wondered what happens to those who never hear the gospel, even once in their lives? God says that all who die without knowing Him will perish in Hell. As believers, we have the burden of witnessing to others. God promises that His Word will not return void. Pass on the good news of the gospel, and let God do the work!

We can't possibly go even one day without sinning. If we were forced to live according to the Law, we could never survive. Our sins would bring us certain death. However, through His mercy, God forgives all our sins and removes them as far as the east is from the west.

Sadly, there are many sincere individuals who seek to spread the gospel, but they are misled. Many cults even claim to know Jesus Christ. John Calvin once said, "Zeal without knowledge is like a sword in the hand of a fool." These groups believe in their causes, but they are deceived. We need to be careful not to fall prey to these false prophets.
