Jesus On Adultery, Children and Riches, Part 1

The church was commanded by Jesus to be the light in the world. To be the salt of the earth. We were never to conform to the world and its practices. Today, Pastor Jeff will teach us that the church is practicing what the world does, and not what God has commanded. Divorce is one of the worst epidemics in the church today. This is part 1 of a 4 part series entitled, “Jesus on Adultery, Children and Riches”.

God is so serious about sin, that Jesus declares some intense statements that the common people shuttered at. It’s also very applicable still today for us. The church is warned through out the NT, to be sober and aware of the times we are living in. Its very easy in todays world to be distracted by social media, and entertainment. The apostle Paul warned the church that God was not slack concerning His promises. One of the greatest promises we have as a church is that His Sons will return for us. Although many don’t believe He is coming, Pastor Jeff Johnson says, the signs of His return are clear. The nation of Israel the country that we need to keep our eyes on. We are in 1 Corinthians chapter 7, in the new years study titled, “Is It Too Late?”

The rapture of the church is a topic that many divide over. Because we don’t actually see the word rapture in the English text of the bible, doesn’t mean it isn’t a biblical doctrine.
