The apostle Paul warned the church that God was not slack concerning His promises. One of the greatest promises we have as a church is that His Sons will return for us. We are in 1 Corinthians chapter 7, in the new years study titled, “Is It Too Late?”

The rapture of the church is a topic that many divide over. Because we don’t actually see the word rapture in the English text of the bible, doesn’t mean it isn’t a biblical doctrine. On today’s edition of Sound Doctrine, Pastor Jeff will teach us that the Rapture is seen through out scripture. And the early church anticipated it. This is the continuation of the study “Is It Too Late?” from 1 Corinthians chapter 7.

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.’ Well the Gospel account gives us a very different scene than the old St. Nick poem. It was a very busy night in Bethlehem. Gifts were presented. A chorale of Angels was singing. But, what the shepherds and the wise men didn’t know that night was that the baby Jesus had gifts for them, and the whole world. Today on Sound Doctrine, Pastor Jeff is teaching that God still has good gifts to give to you this Christmas. This is the Christmas message titled, “Night Before Christmas”

Of all the major events to happen in human history, the greatest is Christmas Eve. This holiday is a celebration of when God stepped onto the pages of human history, and brought light into a dark world. Pastor Jeff is in the Gospel of Luke chapter 2. We will learn that Christ’s mission, and the purpose of His birth, was to die. This is the Christmas message titled, “Night Before Christmas”

We hear the Christmas songs on the radio talking about asking for things for Christmas. But how many of us ask Jesus for something? Pastor Jeff Johnson is teaching from Luke chapter 2. He wants you to know that Christ, the reason for the season, has many things for your life. All you have to do is ask. This is the holiday series, “Joy to the World”

We are taking a break from our study in the Gospel of Mark to focus on the Reason for the Season, Jesus. Some find Christmas to be dreary. The reason being as  we will learn, they don’t have the Joy of the Lord.   On today’s edition, Pastor Jeff will teach us the true meaning of Joy. Its something the world doesn’t have, or understand. We invite you to follow along in this special holiday message titled, “Joy to the World”.

The transfiguration showed the 3 disciples the glory of Christ. They thought they were privileged to see this wonderful event, because of their status as disciples. But Pastor Jeff will teach us; it had nothing to do with them, and everything to do with Gods grace. We invite you to turn in your bibles to Mark chapter 9, and follow Pastor Jeff along in the message titled, “Mountain Top Experience”

The disciples walked, talked, with Jesus for three years. In their minds they thought Jesus would over through the Roman Government, and establish a kingdom. Boy were they wrong. Pastor Jeff will show us today that although peter’s confession was right in whom Jesus was, his understanding of His coming was off. Sometimes we can get it wrong too when making our request known to Him. This is the conclusion to the series, “Seeing, Confessing, and Death.”
