But God designed us as sexual beings for emotional and spiritual intimacy whose highest calling is to worship Him. In this revised edition, Pastor Erwin Lutzer draws on forty years of ministry experience to present a rationale for sexual purity. He gives an honest answer to the sexual pressures we face like extramarital relationships, self-gratification, same-sex attraction, and more. A new year is like a seemingly blank parchment to us. What will happen is known only to God. Thus it only makes sense to allow God to order our steps in the uncertain days ahead, because no one can do it better.

On a pivotal day in Bethlehem, God sent his only Son to live among us, a day marked by a chorus of jubilant angels. Today we will discuss why those angels were rejoicing and why we can rejoice with them this Christmas.

Angels are God’s messengers, and Luke tells us that angels were instrumental in making Christ’s birth known over the skies of Bethlehem. Royalty was coming into the world in a king who would live, die, and then rise again to return in glory.
