Some scientists say poor environment causes most bad behavior. But Eden was like the Ritz-Carleton, so, why the fall? The first people had a perfect place to live and no one to argue with, except each other. Somehow, temptation and sin ended the paradise of Adam and Eve. As the serpent whispered, the grass seemed greener. Today: more on what happened to two people who are the parents of us all.

For Darwin's followers, there was no Eden. Primitive man rose up by pure chance from the primieval slime, and, here we are. The Bible gives an account with no chances. God hand-made the first human man and woman, and gave them a place to live with a mandate to serve Him as custodians of the earth. While the world celebrates Darwin's theories, believers know that it was God, not chance, that brought male and female together.

Evolution's biggest problem? The first millisecond of the Big Bang. How did anything come out of absolutely nothing? For most under evolution's sway, the evidence and facts do not matter. Their objection is more moral than scientific. If there is a God, He's an inconvenient truth, and so, He must go. Today we'll see why He isn't going anywhere, and why His creation is ample evidence of a genius Designer.

Evolutionists have a tough sell. It's one thing to say life developed by chance. It's another to say how it all started. Untold quadrillions of stars, planets and galaxies all argue that a Designer put them there. Pure chance can't create anything...something had to set it all in motion. Today, a look at the virtual infinity that is the universe we live in...fit to honor the One who made it all.

Square pegs don't fit in round holes, and evolution and creation cannot both be true. Some Christians have tried to bridge the gap. Bowing to the influence of Charles Darwin, some argue for theistic evolution and other approaches that allow God to stay in the background as natural selection does its thing. Today: more on the influence of a man whose teachings cannot be reconciled with those of the Bible.

Charles Darwin made history with "On the Origin of Species." This book helped launch evolution on its way. The battle lines are drawn. Christians believe in a Creator God. Evolutionists believe in random chance. The bottom line: if there's no God, there's no one to judge our behavior. And a lot of people would like that just fine. Today: we begin a series on "The Darwin Delusion."

When you try to swat a bee, be sure he'll try to sting you. And when you hurt other people, they may just try to hurt you back. One thing kids learn real quick is how to get even. Taking revenge is a natural reaction when we're offended. But the Bible commands us to not seek revenge. Today: rising above our instincts and allowing God to be the one who makes things right.

It seems that conflict is inevitable. Even if we do no wrong, someone out there is all set to do some wrong to us. Resolving the resulting conflicts can be as painful as it is necessary. We must extend forgiveness even when every emotion in us tells us to "get even" instead. Today: more practical counsel on reconciliation: making things right with God and man.

Americans look forward to holiday times...times to gather with friends and relatives, times of shared happiness. But many among us dread times like these because it means facing people who've hurt us, or worse, people we've hurt. Unresolved conflicts are the collateral damage of sin, even forgiven sin. Today: putting damaged relationships back on track.

We can do a lot of damage when we sin. Even though forgiven, sin can leave some serious consequences in its wake. Handling the ongoing pain we've caused is a daunting, but necessary task. Today: we'll begin learning how to seek forgiveness from those we've hurt, and then watch as God graciously brings new life and new hope out of our bad situations.

Certain laws are built into the fabric of the universe...gravity...the speed of light...and the principles of sowing and reaping. You can't avoid gravity, and you can't change the speed of light. Neither can you buck the system that says "what you reap, you sow." God uses this principle to teach His children to not sin...sometimes the lessons are hard. If you find it tough to stop sinning, stay with us.
