There is a very great difference between crying and weeping or sobbing. The latter happens when tragedy strikes a person’s heart and they feel indescribable sorrow. Although weeping occurs, hope can still be found amidst the sadness. Jesus weeps with us, but also reminds us of a joy that is coming. The Bible promises that sorrow only lasts for a night but joy comes in the morning. When you have experienced great depths of pain and anguish, then you can also experience the incredible heights of rejoicing. Our tears are precious to God, and He desires for us to come to Him in our moments of weeping.
