The devil is described as a roaring lion, and yet too often we fall back on the common thinking that he snuck up on us to cause us to sin. The fact is, if we really think about it we know the areas in our lives where the devil can trap us, and yet we allow ourselves to still go there. God has a purpose for your life, and the devil works hard to keep you from accomplishing that purpose. It is absolutely essential that we stay focused on the finish line and pay attention so as to not fall into the devil’s traps because contrary to common thought, he does not sneak up on you but rather prowls around like roaring lion that we can identify and avoid if we remain aware.
