We commonly hear people talk about being in the "End Times" and that the end of the world is near. As Jesus told His disciples in Matthew, no one, not even He knows the time when He will return to call us home. We can choose to either wait around and do nothing for the Kingdom or we can serve as soldiers in the Army of God fighting for the souls of others. God did not put us on this earth to wait around. Rather than wasting our time believing the lies that people say in predicting when Jesus will return, we should focus more on the work God has given us to do, and when He comes back we will be ready.

We may often come across unbelievers who are hostile towards Christianity, often because they have been hurt by Christians in the past. Many people see Christians as hypocrites, and that is because we proclaim one thing and do another in secret. If we're going to actually win anyone over to Christ, it is essential that we are vulnerable with them, showing them how Christ has redeemed us from our own sin and be transparent about how He is currently working in our lives and hearts. When they actually see the true Gospel in action, they cannot help but realize that there is something to this, and it may not be a "crock" after all.

Many believers have asked if it is possible to lose their salvation, and also how to know for sure that they are saved. Once you are saved, there is nothing that you can ever do or that can ever be done to cause you to lose your salvation. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you become a child of God, and there are various "DNA" tests that you can check to make sure that He lives in you. Some of those tests are if you experience consequences for your sinful actions because God only disciplines His children, those He loves. Another test is if you love your brothers and sisters in Christ because if you love God, you will love who He loves. There are many different ways to verify that you are in an active relationship with God, but if there is any doubt in your mind, do not wait to make it right. Pray to God, proclaim that Jesus is Lord, ask for forgiveness of your sins, begin a relationship with Him and move forward in that.

While we understand the importance of physical protection in this world, we often overlook the importance of spiritual protection. The reality is that we are in a spiritual battle, and the devil attacks us where he knows us to be weak. It is crucial that we put on the full armor of God, as Paul tells us to do in Ephesians. We also need to make goals, such as knowing Jesus instead of just knowing about Him, and pursue those goals. Prayer is an essential part of fighting in this spiritual battle because more often than not, those who are lacking in prayer are getting beat. Lastly, we need to make sure that we are surrounded by our brothers and sisters in Christ so that we can help protect each other from temptation and the attacks of the devil.
