Encouragement is powerful, probably more powerful than any of us know. But so is discouragement. Many of the deep and intense struggles we face in our hearts and homes grow out of discouragement. Life overwhelms us and we feel like no one cares. And the downward cycle begins, leading us who knows where. So let’s take the biblical mandate to encourage one another seriously.
