Today, Pastor Jack describes the benefits of God’s grace, and how He is faithful in keeping His Word. Christ justified us by dying on the cross for our salvation. He sanctified us for His purposes to do His good will. And, He glorified us, before His presence, so we can be forever with Him.

What is the meaning of deep, God-given peace? It is not an emotion or a sensation. The peace of God is a peace that passes all understanding. It can only be experienced through a personal relationship with God. And, by trusting in Him alone, as the object of our faith.

We can sense God’s good pleasure when we live a life surrendered to Him. Our purpose is to fulfill God’s plan for our lives, through the power of His grace. And, whatever God calls us to do, we are to run with it. For we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Paul did not see himself as limited by his circumstances. Instead, he saw himself as being on a divine mission. For when we live for God’s desires, we can further the gospel without fear, and regardless of our situation.

Today, Pastor Jack tells us to use our freedom to the glory of God, and in spreading the Gospel. Paul’s prayer for the church is that love will grow more and more. And, we are to be confident in this truth: That He who has begun a good work in us will complete it.

In God’s eyes, we all have the exact same value. The Lord will never abandon us in our hour of need. Paul shows us, by example, how to have joy in hostile circumstances. For during Paul’s darkest hour, God gave him a song in the night.

Paul’s strong feelings of gratitude for the Philippians is felt throughout his letter. He wants them to know the awesome relevance of God’s word to the human heart. The power of the Gospel is not limited by social status, but reaches every level of culture with its message of love.

Today, Pastor Jack tells us Paul’s warning to the church not to be lazy. We must not become a burden, because idleness can lead to division. Investing in the lives of God’s people will also further the Gospel message. Paul set the example by laboring, as God continued to use him.
