February 15, 2017

The rapture will be a glorious event that we need to be ready for, but the second coming will bring judgment for those who will be left behind. Today, Pastor Jack will take us through numerous scriptures that tell us that the believer will not go through the great tribulation.  Jesus promises to deliver His Church.

Daze Of Deception
Jesus warned that deception would grow worse as we draw nearer to the end times, saying, “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4). Distinguishing truth from error has become increasingly challenging—even in the church. We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits have grown more and more difficult to detect and avoid. Living in the Daze of Deception explores the many ways error is masquerading as truth—and you’ll learn how you can discern the difference.

The rapture of the church is a coming event that Paul shares in every chapter of his letter to the Thessalonians.  His desire was to bring hope to the church, that death was not the final act. Paul does not want the church to be ignorant concerning death.  If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we should also believe that the Lord will come again so we can be forever with Him.

The apostle Paul had a passion for walking in love, and his love for the church called out to them to do exactly the same.  The more the church walks in love, the more the evidence of God’s divine love will show in the believer’s life.   Love always makes the first move.

It’s against human nature to be teachable and we are prone to easily forget what we’ve learned.  Paul’s been teaching the church in great love by repeating important issues of the Christian walk.  He wants it to go down deep into their hearts so they can face the trouble that surrounds them with confidence in their faith in Christ.

Paul was concerned that the uphill battles may cause the church to stumble, so during his first visit to the church in Thessalonica, he pressed them to keep walking along the right path in spite of strong opposition.
