References: Exodus 20

Undergirding each commandment is a principle –– a value system God wants us to embrace. This week we come to the 6th commandment, “You shall not murder,” God tells us Choose Life! He calls us to be people who value life because life is an expression of God Himself and every human being bears the image of God. Jesus takes this commandment to an entirely different level. There is more to “murder” than murder itself. In this lesson Pastor Dale helps us to understand how this commandment applies to issues of our heart, it is not just about killing someone physically, but it is about how by our words and attitudes we can literally kill the spirit of another person.
