How to get on the front lines of the spiritual war

January 9, 2013

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Years ago when I was a pastor in Florida, I was preaching about abortion. And I told our church, “We as Christians can’t preach against abortion if we’re not willing to offer mercy and love to people who are going through an unwanted pregnancy.” So God put it on the hearts of some of our church members to establish a center for crisis pregnancy counseling.

So they did it. They built a crisis pregnancy center in the city, and offered free pregnancy tests and counseling, as well as the opportunity for these sweet mothers to choose life for their baby, and life in Jesus Christ.

The center wasn’t open more than two or three weeks before we were being testified against at a Senate hearing in Washington, D.C. for what we were trying to do. And then, we knew God was in this because the devil was against it! And to this day, that center is one of the front lines of spiritual warfare in that city!

We need Christians today who are willing to fight on the front lines in the battle against the enemy. So instead of playing it safe in church on Sunday, get out and make an impact every day of the week for Christ!

MAKE AN IMPACT FOR CHRIST BY GETTING ON THE FRONT LINES IN THE SPIRITUAL BATTLE AGAINST THE ENEMY.

Not only to grow in your faith as a believer, but to give winsome, compassionate answers to the hard questions our culture is asking.

That’s why I want to send you a special new resource today – my CD series called The Best of 2012.

This series contains 10 of my most popular and compelling messages from 2012, and it’s a resource that’s sure to help you in 2013 because it includes messages such as, “Are All Religions the Same?”, “Lessons on Leadership,” and “What Is a Christian?”
