You can visit the place where Jesus was born in the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. It is one of the oldest churches in the world. A silver star marks the traditional spot where Mary gave birth, and a nearby place marks the location of the cattle feeding trough where the infant Jesus was laid. Of course, there was no church 2,000 years ago, only a rude cave used for housing animals. Indeed, the King of Kings was not born into luxury.
