Spanish bullfighters often use a bright red cloth to enrage “El Toro” the bull and get him to charge. This is the origin of the expression “seeing red” when we are offended. When someone treats us badly, our first reaction is to strike back. Yet as Christians, we are called upon to respond quite differently. As the Apostle Paul taught the believers in Corinth, is it not better to suffer wrong than to sue a fellow believer?
