Pastor Philip Miller

Israel, Clay in the Potter's Hand (The Church in Babylon)

June 28, 2015

One book in the Bible guarantees a blessing to all who read it: the Book of Revelation. Rich in symbolism, it portrays the future yet to be: the glorious return of Jesus, the resurrection of the dead, judgment, the Millennial reign, and finally, the eternity which follows.

Have you ever tried to put a puzzle together without looking at the picture on the box? These messages will help you see the big picture of the puzzle we call the Bible; with the Bible’s 66 books being the puzzle’s pieces. As we survey key events throughout the Old and New Testaments, we’ll better understand the story of redemption as revealed to us in the Scriptures. The series culminates in an overview of the vital but often misunderstood book of Revelation as we look forward to Christ’s return.Click below to receive this series of 4 sermons on 2 CDs or on DVD for a gift of any amount, or call Moody Church Media at 1.800.215.5001.  Please contact Moody Church Media at 1.800.215.5001 or visit https://www.moodymedia.org/store/cd-series/when-life-hard/ to purchase our previous sermon series, When Life Is Hard.

Imagine Earth as a grand stage where a great drama is being played out—a real drama. It began long ago when mankind sinned and was separated from our Creator. God had set in motion a plan to redeem those that believe in the value of a great sacrifice: that of His Son, Jesus.

Life for all too many of us is hard. We are not promised an easy life. Even as Jesus walked a road of suffering, we too are called to rely on God for sustaining grace through times of trial and deprivation.
