The Bad Citizenship of Good People

“Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.” - James 4:17

In our spiritual life, our home life, and our church life, we have duties to perform and commitments to keep. The same is true in our national life. Some people say, “I don’t see the perfect candidate, so I'm not voting.” If we don’t speak – who’s left to speak? Jesus said we’re to “render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s and unto God that which is God’s.” Our Caesar is a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Our government requires our vote.

If a person chooses not to participate when and where the battle is enjoined, then in my estimation, that’s disobedience to the Lord.  One vote can make a difference.
