Depression - Caring for Yourself, Part 3
Wednesday, February 08, 2012
Life is stressful and that stress manifests itself in many ways, including depression. On Life Lessons today, Pastor Steve gives us some advise. Before we try to cast out demons, before we spiritualize the whole thing, we need to address the obvious. Perhaps our own life-style is adding to our body’s reaction.

Hearing God’s Call

Each of us is urgently needed in the harvest field. All of us have been summoned to serve in a specific place, a specific way and at a specific time. So, how do we know these specifics? That’s what Pastor Steve addresses in his message, “Hearing God’s Call.” God has issued a call to each of us and He never changes His mind. He never takes His call back. But sadly many of us go through life unaware of what that call is.  We don’t know our assignment and the result is we don’t step into the place waiting for us in the harvest field. Does that describe you? Are you unsure of what God has in mind for you?

In his message, “Hearing God’s Call,” Pastor Steve looks at what we must do to enter into our specific, tailored calling to be part of the Work of God in the world. We’re a listener supported ministry and depend on your gifts for the ongoing expenses of this broadcast. All this month you can get a copy of Pastor Steve’s message, “Hearing God’s Call,” when you send a gift to the ministry of Life Lessons.  It’s our way of saying “Thank You” for your generous support of this radio ministry.
