The Day of the Lord and the Trumpet of the Lord Part 1
In the army, when the trumpet sounds at dawn, soldiers must wake up and give full attention to their duties. God's covenant people had become so secure and complacent in their military and financial prowess, they had fallen asleep spiritually and forgotten the Lord. Joel chapter 2 sounds a trumpet call to wake up and turn their full attention to the Lord.
