We're looking at the 3rd temptation of Jesus in Matthew 4, and asking "What does this temptation look like for us?" (and there seems to be a uniquely American answer to the question). We began talking about it last Friday. The problem is believers giving more time, energy, and resources to the pursuit of earthly things than the pursuit of God's righteousness and His Kingdom. Join us again today as Pastor Jim Shaddix fleshes out the issue and its contribution to the erosion of the church's influence in the culture.
