Got a minute? That's all it takes for HEARTBEAT, a program with plain talk about real life, drawn from the "caring and sharing" ministry of The Salvation Army. The program's title says it all. As the heart is the core of life, so the essence of life is God.
Hosts, Captain Marion Platt and Mrs. Meagan Hofer Half of the episodes are presented by Captain Marion Platt, a vocalist and evangelist whose passion is “to introduce people to the opportunity for abundant life in Jesus Christ.” The Captain serves alongside his wife Everett and their three children at Evangeline Booth College of The Salvation Army in Atlanta, Georgia.
Meagan Hofer presents the other half of the programs. She is the New Media Coordinator in the Communications Bureau of the USA Southern Territory where she is a writer and host of the international video news program, Salvation Army Today. Meagan and her husband Chris grew up in The Salvation Army and are active soldiers at the Temple Corps in Atlanta.
