Every Christian needs to ask themselves an all important and determining question, “What is the treasure of my heart?” Being honest with yourself and God is of utmost importance. Self-deception robs you in life; it will rob you the day when it is impossible to deceive. There will be a day in all of our lives when the steering mechanism of our life will be exposed. If your treasure is this life, with a little God sprinkled in, admit it to yourself and to God. If you have a treasure that has an eternal foundation—these are some of the qualities God needs from His children now.
