Host of The Sportsmen’s Channel, television show Leading LadiesOutdoors, Tammi Koenig visits with Gerry at the Mathews Dealership Show in the Dells, Wisconsin. Tammi shareshow she got involved in archery and was an avid animal rights person. Yet when told “Yeah you can shoot good attargets, but women can’t hunt.” and after a close encounter with a deer, she decided to try hunting. From all of this shebecame a bow staff pro, was featured on a number of television programs, and now has her own program with herdaughter Brittney. Tammi also reveals her abusive life growing up and how it affected her and how she eventuallycame to know Jesus as her savior.

The designer of the “Tract Rack”, Joel Proffit, is the guest on thisweek’s program. Joel has taken a mule deer antler shed and an elk antler shed, cutting into them locations where tractscan be inserted and held with spring-loaded pins as display pieces that can be placed on a desk or countertop wherepeople come to do business. These two items are now produced as reproductions and can be purchased to have theseministry tools available for visitors who may come into the listener’s shop or office. They certainly will grab people’sattention and draw them to check out these two animals’ antlers. Joel also shares about tracts he has produced and areavailable through his website as well.

On this week's program we visit with Ron and Dolores Lindner, and an amazing thing happens. Other than saying hello to the audience and goodbye at the end,Ron allows his wife Dolores to tell of the many difficult years of struggling with Ron's alcoholism and all that relates to that addiction. This is her side of the story of the tract on Ron's life and how he came to Christ, called "The End of the Line!" For someone who normally doesn't get in front of a microphone, she did a wonderful job of sharing about their difficulties and their victory because of Jesus Christ.

Butch Thomas who is the sales and marketing manager for Morrell Manufacturing, Inc., a company that produces both bag targets and 3D targets, is the guest on this week's program. Gerry visits with Butch in Wisconsin at the Mathews Dealership Show, as Butch shares about growing up without a father, his mother's faith in God, and how that was transmitted to him as he grew older. Butch talks about his first experience shooting a gun with his uncle and how he hit the soupcan, which was the target, with the very first shot and how his marksmanship has been used for both ducks and deer. He also tells a story about his daughter, a prayer that he asked God and how God answered it in his daughter's life.

On this week's program a summer day after a terrific thunderstorm in the middle of the night, the radio station KBHW in International Falls, Minnesota discovered they had transmission problems. The station manager, Bruce Christopherson relates how what appeared to be a phenomenal tragedy when it was discovered that their tower had been blown down, with time and faith turned out to be an incredible blessing for the staff and the station. Bruce also shares about the memorable times hunting with his dad, pursuing water fowl and fishing through the years and how he cherishes the memories.
