Gerry and Brad talk about an event they did together in Brookshire, TX to reach lost sportsmen in the Lone Star State. Brad also tells the story of how he shot the monster buck and is using it in evangelistic endeavors.

3,500 men are fed in less than one hour at the First Baptist Church in Gardendale, Alabama’s annual game dinner. Gerry and his guest Pastor Allen Oakley look at this annual event and a number of others that the church is doing there in the Birmingham, Alabama area to reach men for Christ.

The Fishers of Men Retreats is the topic of this weeks program as Gerry interviews Ron Lindner. Ron and his brother Al did these types of retreats for 17 years and saw many men come to Christ. There are people in full-time ministry today in the USA, Canada, and around the world that came to the Lord at these fishing events.

Muskegon Country Outfitters a whitetail hunting business in Ohio started by Doug Buzard is the topic of this weeks program. Gerry and Doug talk about the potential. Monster bucks in Ohio, and how Doug and his wife Stacey will be using the business to try and reach their clientele with the love of Jesus Christ.

Brent Jackson of Grand Forks, ND and Gerry discuss Brent’s church’s first outdoor outreach, a walleye dinner. Brent also shares with the listeners about his falling out of a treestand and breaking both of his ankles. He tells how he did not realize his ankles were broken and so climbed back into the stand to get his equipment and then shot a deer; then the agonizing descent and long crawl back to his car.

About Dean Hulce

Dean Hulce was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he spent every weekend in the woods or on the water with family and friends.  After graduation he married his highschool sweetheart Linda.  They have two boys and 5 grandchildren. 

Dean has written for several hunting and fishing magazines over the last 25 years. He has guided  hunters and fisherman as well as run hunting fishing camps from South Texas to Alaska and many states and provinces in between.  In the last 10 years Dean has written a daily devotional that goes out to thousands each day. He had published 5 devotional books, using hunting stories to bring a message to people.  He has traveled across the USA speaking to groups, spreading the gospel through outdoor experiences.

Dean has no doubt that God has prepared him his entire life for his position with God's Great Outdoors Ministry
