After 10 years of massive increases in government spending on education in England, it appears that there was no perceptible improvement in the academic performance of the students. Our country has seen education spending-per-student increase between 200 and 300%, adjusted for inflation since 1960, and results are dismal. In per student costs America spends more than all other nation in the world for its education system, yet lags behind other developed nations in reading, writing, and math.
