What we are facing, according to author Douglas Wilson, is a multi-generational decline in fatherhood that began in the 19th century. Or institutions haven’t helped either. The average family is in 5 times more debt (per the GNI) than they were in 1900. They’re under 6 times more government control/spending (per the GNI), and they’re under 7 times more corporate slavery. The average dad is constricted by 1,000 Lilliputians. His church is effeminized. He’s five generations away from halfway functional fathering. So now what? Douglas Wilson gets back to the basics in this important interview on his new book, "Father Hunger."
