The Present Adoption Scam

February 24, 2010
A Biblical Adoption System
The present system of social services, foster care, and adoptions is rife with corruption and as government systems are wont to do, it perpetuates more dysfunctionality everywhere.
While being careful not to in any way disparage adoption as a wonderful way to care for the orphan, Kevin Swanson lays out the problems with adoption presently practiced. He points out that the worldview of the statist system of adoptions is fundamentally flawed.
To illustrate the conflict of worldviews that come to bear in the adoption process, guest Steve Vaughan talks to how his family was treated by social services in Colorado, and the antipathy social services agents reveal towards Christians.

Sex Ed for Kindergarten in Iowa? Social programming takes on new shapes and forms as the modern world continues to unravel. Forced sterilizations in Indiana in the 1920s turn into mandatory sex ed classes for kindergarten in Iowa. But it all adds up to social scientists attempting to control the masses by their centralization, standardizations, and tyrannical usurpation of family government. Kevin Swanson identifies the worldview that is working hard to get your brain in a jar so you can be totally controlled by the scientists who know best.

The breakdown of morality, the family, and civilization itself relies upon the breakdown of the generations. And the generation gaps are widening more than ever now, at an accelerating pace. Unfortunately, even the church is doing what it can to contribute to the breakdown of culture and the severance of the generations. The screenplay, “Fiddler on a Roof” tells the heart-breaking story of the breakdown of the fifth commandment and the destruction of culture in the modern world. But for those families who still want to salvage a civilization by the year 2075, Kevin Swanson gives several important ways they can re-integrate the generations in family and church.

Educated for Judgment If a nation was, say, under the judgment of God, what would it look like? Kevin Swanson gets a checklist out, and starts comparing Deuteronomy 28 to what is going on in our country today. Some similarities? Yep. We survived well and good without God for a good 80 years or so. But what happens when the gods of the market tumble and the smooth-tongued wizards withdraw? So we go back to the beginning of wisdom, and we chuck 80 years of education on this broadcast.

Interview: Dr. Ian Hodge Unlike the Muslims, the Christian Worldview includes music as an essential constituent of a good education. For Christians, music is not an elective. It's basic curriculum. Kevin Swanson interviews Dr. Ian Hodge, homeschool father and professional musician on the importance of music and the problem of musical illiteracy in a degraded culture. But how do you make music more interesting for your children, and what are the typical traps parents fall into when trying to teach music?

How Christians Survive in Apocalyptic Times Kevin Swanson reviews the post-apocalyptic film, The Book of Eli, in the which a lone man preserves the last copy of the King James Version of the Bible on planet earth. Is Hollywood capable of producing a Christian film, and how might a film like this compare to Ben Hur or the Ten Commandments? But why apocalyptic films? Is modern man expecting judgment? Should society break down into anarchy, how might a Christian conduct himself? In this engaging edition of Generations, Kevin Swanson compares the character Eli with a true Christian whom might find himself in a societal breakdown, (which by the way has happened in the history of the world.)

Sex Ed - Marquis de Sade Style In a Brave New World, complete with sex education materials of which Marquis de Sade would heartily approve, children become the sad victims, while the institution of the family continues its decline into the abyss. Quite a bit has changed in just 20 years with the sort of sex education materials that organizations like SIECUS and Planned Parenthood provide junior high and high school students. Appealing to parents blessed with a little common sense and a little natural love for their children, Dr. Miriam Grossman provides sensible medical critiques of what these organizations are doing with millions of children in America. Parents whose children might have access to these materials in the public schools or friends of those who attend the public schools should be aware of Dr. Grossman's research on these organizations.

Teaching Good Things Much of education is a monumental waste of time, and fails to prepare children for life. In this helpful interview, Kathy Brodock explains why it is important to teach your children how to do life before they leave the home. Knowledge is important, but so is life.

Interview: Doug Phillips Haiti may be the most impoverished and the most evil nation on earth. Justice is a lost cause. Tyranny and corruption prevail. After losing at least a quarter million people in one of the worst natural disasters of the last century, some ministries wonder if this could be the breakthrough that opens up opportunities to reach the nation with real discipleship in the Gospel of Christ. Vision Forum’s Doug Phillips gives a first hand report on the cataclysmic devastation, the death, and the chaos in the aftermath of the earthquake. Yet, it is here that light shines through the darkness, and the contrast between good and evil is strikingly sharp. Mercy does triumph in judgment, every time. But judgment isn’t fun.

Cracks in the Liberal Agenda Conservativism is dying. But so is liberalism. As a nation begins to fall apart, all of the "proposed solutions" come to naught. Meanwhile, Christians are working to accommodate a "larger tent." And the gods of the copybook headings limp up to explain it once more. Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner are outrageously optimistic for an altogether different agenda, on Generations.

Family Films After 100 years of centralized control of film production and distribution in the hands of a very few power-brokers, now the markets are breaking home for decentralization of media and culture. In this exciting interview with Steve Morales from Freedom Film Distributors, Kevin Swanson talks about bringing film production and distribution into family economies across the country (and around the world).
