The breakdown of morality and the rise of tyranny are always concomitants. Are we in this for four more years or forty more years? The Second Mayflower is only beginning!

On the macro scale, the Christian worldview appears to be slipping in the western world. Paganism is on the rise; humanism has trashed our civilizations, but some of us are digging in and reaching the next generation with the basics of a biblical worldview. Bill Jack, from Worldview Academy, joins us on this edition of Generations. He's on the streets, in the classrooms, and campgrounds talking worldview.

Taylor Swift's Red Album sold 1.2 million in a week, almost edging out the all-time record set by Eminem ten years ago. Kevin Swanson reviews the lyrics of the album. Should Christians be listening to this stuff, if practically every song is one-night-stands, hook-ups, and break-ups? Is this OUR culture?

Well, the day has arrived to fill out our 2012 ballot. How is Kevin Swanson going to vote on the candidates and the issues? County Commissioners, House Reps, Congressmen, and, oh yes.. Mary Jane is on the ballot in Washington and Colorado. What about the legalization of marijuana? What does the Bible say about the legalization of drugs and the maintenance of good order in society?

New Orleans. New York. Is San Francisco next? Total hurricane damage costs in America (adjusted for inflation and standard of living changes) has been 4X worse than it was in the 90's (over the last 10 years), and 12X worse than the 70's and 80's! What's the message here? Is there a God and does He do things? This is hard for the modern mind to comprehend. Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner discuss a proper response to these natural disasters on this edition of Generations.

News reports are indicating that the "glory days" are over for America. The median income continues to fall and is now at its lowest point since 1995. Families will have to learn to live on less. Kevin Swanson suggests that we teach our children how to live by Biblical principles. One of the principles found in the Proverbs is the principle of frugality. Here we interview Mary Ostyn, author of Family Feasts for $75 a Week. As a mother of ten, Mary offers some wonderful advice on cutting food costs and getting the children involved in the kitchen!

For the first time in American history, more people celebrate Halloween than Easter. Retail outlets expect a 15% increase in sales of celebratory Halloween paraphernalia this year. Halloween's roots lodge in the Day of the Dead celebrated by pagan tribes ever since the worldwide flood. The pagan world has always been enamored by death and demons. In a darkened world, Christians should exult-with hope, joy, and faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ-in victory over the demon world. This should happen every Sunday in your church.

The vast majority of Christian Protestant pastors are voting for a Mormon president, per a recent LifeWay survey. Will a Mormon president solve our problems? Is America doing better today than it was 4 years ago? What are the real issues that confront our nation? Has this election process brought these matters to light? Kevin Swanson interviews Stephen Kendrick, Director of the movie, Courageous on his view concerning America's heart problems and the solution.

In this continuing conversation on pop culture, Kevin Swanson contrasts Christian hip hop star Lecrae Moore with country music star Carrie Underwood. How did Lecrae set a better trajectory than "Jesus Take the Wheel" Carrie? Cultural discussions are not easy, but they are important. These stars are no less than pastors who are far more important in discipling the new generation than the old parents and pastors used to be. What should families do in the midst of a cultural revolution? Is there a difference between a kid raised in the manner of Lecrae Moore's genre and a kid raised in a Christian home who rebels against his parents' rules? Kevin points out that the Fifth Commandment is important when it comes to breaking down culture or building it back up.

The Journal of Medical Ethics publishes an article advocating 4th trimester abortions (infanticide). This brave new world is getting braver and more dangerous, but Christians are setting a different trajectory entirely. They are abandoning socialist medicine, socialist insurance, and intercity welfare programs. Kevin Swanson interviews James Lansberry from Samaritan Ministries on the Morning Center.
