What should you do with a special needs child? Should you just let him die? This program refers to a twelve-page, blow-by-blow article from The Denver Post documenting the 3-week-long death of a little boy deprived of palliative care. It is a macabre story. Worst of all, "Jesus" told the family to do it—and a pastor from a local church was there to "support" the family as they removed the feeding tube. In this touching and heart-wrenching program, Kevin compares two little boys with nearly identical physical disabilities requiring extra care. Simon is a blessing to all who love him, but Dylan was murdered in the name of love. So what is the difference? On this edition of Generations, Kevin speaks with Cheryl Nelson (Simon's mother), focusing on what a tremendous blessing Simon has been over the years. Simon was 6 years old when this program first aired six years ago. Today, Simon is still hanging in there, and his family continues to provide 24/7 care for him.

With 60% of Americans receiving their checks from the government, what happens to those who still want to be free? Should they get in line for welfare or unemployment with the rest? Is it immoral to take money from the government? Kevin Swanson interacts with listeners who are struggling with taking government checks—whether it is social security, unemployment, or good ol' fashioned welfare.

"Don't watch my filthy show!" Angus T. Jones, television actor on Two and a Half Men, attempts to discourage Christians from watching the show. Apparently, too many things are made light of-such as sexual orgies, homosexuality, and bestiality. It's not good for kids. The big question though is whether Angus's comments will actually increase the show's popularity. Kevin Swanson questions the involvement of Christians in cultural systems that are moving in the wrong direction. Then we take a look at a recent study done on children raised in homosexual homes.

The ironies are everywhere. The Russian Pravda press condemns America for electing a communist as president. Meanwhile, the Uganda president calls for national repentance. Will African nations seek God's blessing, while America turns away from God? Every nation has a trajectory. Where is ours turning? Are we destroying ourselves by debt and immorality? Or are we on the upswing?

History is presupposition-weighted, and some presuppositions are better than others. That makes some history and anthropology more reliable than others. We examine the mysteries of ancient man on this edition of Generations. Don Landis, General Editor of a new books called "The Genius of Ancient Man" describe the amazing creations of ancient cultures. What do we find in ancient history, but the simultaneous occurrence of genius and rebellion against God. Thus, we would expect advancements and regression in human society. This stands in direct conflict with an evolutionary concept of man.

When we get down to brass tacks, problems in family life and church life usually point to a lack of love. Alexander Strauch has spent the last 10 years of his life studying the Biblical principle of love, especially as it applies to leaders in the church and family. This godly leader has provided five books on the topic—and he shares his wisdom with us on this special edition of Generations.

What is the last great hope for freedom in America? Congressman Ron Paul, in his farewell address last week, hailed homeschoolers as the last great hope for liberty in the free world. Kevin Swanson encourages homeschool parents and homeschool leaders not to fizzle out as they prepare the next generation with the vision for maximum liberty rooted in a biblical worldview

Twilight hits the Box Office, big time, one more time. Of the 10 most popular movies (based on first-week box office receipts), three belong to the Twilight series. The girls are silly about it. This cannibal/Vampire rage has got kids chewing on each other and generally violating God's laws. Mark Driscoll is concerned. He calls it "porn for girls". And it's leading to a rise in "pure paganism". So does God law define paganism or not? That's the question that Kevin Swanson poses for the post-modern craziness. Is there such a thing as good paganism? White witchcraft? Soft cannibalism?

Happy Thanksgiving, Friends! Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner celebrate Thanksgiving by comparing President Obama's Thanksgiving Day Address to George Washington's.
