It has been 41 years since Roe v. Wade, the fateful decision that brought about the slaughter of a generation of children. The number is far higher than 57 million, because of the millions killed by the secret killer - the Plan B pill and the abortifacients. Will this bring about the end of the world, or will the nuclear threats? Kevin Swanson points out the dystopian fears that are strong even among the unbelieving scientific community today. Increasingly western nations are wanting to persecute Christians and reward homosexual behavior. This seems to be the approach taken by our own State Department. Muslims in North Africa continue persecution of Christians, while preachers are arrested in Scotland for preaching against sexual sin. And, Joel Osteen isn't helping. Kevin Swanson points out that school shootings have doubled over the last year, and the rate is 150 times what it was in the 19th century. However, the good news is that you can find bullet-proof backpacks for your children. For only $950, you can get bullet-proof vests for children. Or. . . you can homeschool. Then again, there are other reasons why you might want to homeschool your kids.

Al Mohler points out that evangelicals are reconsidering the theological basis for contraception, and he's happy about that, and so are we. When discussing the pill, the world mocks. But we speak to the conscience of the evangelical. Will they repent or not? These are the salient sins of the day, and we need to keep them in front of the evangelical population - in hopes they will actually repent and receive remission, a purging of their sins in Christ. It would be nice if the evangelicals understood the Gospel message.
