How do you know that God loves you and always will? How do you know that no matter what kind of sneaky, underhanded scheme Satan comes up with to attack you, God will be there for you? How do you know that no matter how badly you blow it, God will forgive you and welcome you back with open arms? Because He said so! Today we bring you another study from Romans chapter eight, as we look at verses 35 through 39. Here Paul writes eloquently and powerfully about what we have in Christ Jesus.

The Oil Spill in the Gulf, tension in foreign lands, financial difficulty, an illness, or death. I could go on and on citing examples of things that Satan will use to unsettle our hearts. The vast majority have a focus on the here and now. Is that where your focus is? If it is, let’s be encouraged to shift that focus from the present life, to eternity, today on Focal Point. About Pastor Mike Fabarez

Mike Fabarez is the founding pastor of Compass Bible Church in South Orange County, California and has been in pastoral ministry for more than 30 years. He is committed to clearly communicating God’s word verse-by-verse and encourages his listeners to apply what they have learned to their daily lives.

Pastor Mike is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Talbot School of Theology (M.A.) and Westminster Theological Seminary in California (D.Min.).
