If God Is So Good, Why Is the World So Bad?
On the one hand, we believe in a God who is both good and completely in control. On the other hand…we see the devastating effects of evil in a world that seems to be getting worse by the minute. But how do we reconcile the two? On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez offers biblical solutions to a difficult question…If God Is So Good, Why Is the World So Bad? In the next half hour, we’ll begin to get a better sense of God’s purposes…

Is Christianity Really the Only Way?In each of the many religions of the world, we’ll find sincere people who faithfully follow what they’ve been taught. Yet two thousand years ago, a Jewish carpenter announced that He was the one and only way to salvation. If Jesus was right…where does that leave others who are trying to reach God through a different road? On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez points out the narrow path…and the wideness of God’s love. It’s the conclusion of a message called, "Is Christianity the Only Way?"

Is Christianity Really the Only Way?Speaking about Christians, some people may use words like, “narrow-minded,” “intolerant” or even “prejudiced.” In a culture that values tolerance… and stresses that all beliefs have merit… Christians can sound stubbornly rigid by claiming that Jesus is the only way to God.  On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez studies the words of Jesus’ to see if we’re distorting His message of salvation… or accurately understanding His teaching.  Few matters are as urgent as how to gain eternal life.  We’re answering the question… Is Christianity the Only Way?

Is Christianity the Only Way?In a conversation about spiritual matters, you’re bound to hear phrases like, “There are many paths to God,” or “It doesn’t matter which religion you follow… as long as you’re sincere!”  Those statements lead us to an important question… Is Christianity the Only Way?  On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez provides answers by looking at what Jesus had to say on the subject.  Few matters are as urgent as salvation… and we can’t afford to be wrong!  This message is part of a study called, The Big Questions.

Was Jesus Really More Than Just Another Good Teacher?During His ministry on earth… Jesus raised a lot of eyebrows… and prompted a lot questions.  Who was this man who healed the sick and fed the hungry?  For many… deciphering the identity of Christ is as difficult now as it was back then.  On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez provides solid reasons to prove that Jesus wasn’t just a good teacher… but something much greater.  We’re continuing a series called… The Big Questions.  In the next half hour, Mike Fabarez asks us to decide… who is Jesus Christ?

Was Jesus Really More Than Just Another Good Teacher? When asked, “Who are you?” …Jesus replied with some very outrageous claims.  He said He was sent by the Father.  He claimed He could forgive sins.  And He admitted to being the very Son of God!  Was Jesus an imposter?  Or was He really who He said He was?  On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez turns his attention to the person of Jesus Christ… and the substantial evidence that would suggest that… Jesus was telling the truth.  It’s the answer to another one of… The Big Questions

What’s So Special About the Bible? Wander the aisles of a bookstore, and you’ll find thousands of books, each credited to a distinct human author.  But on a separate shelf, you’ll find the Bible, whose authorship supposedly comes from God Himself!  Few other manuscripts claim such a unique origin.  On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez takes us on a fascinating look at what makes Scripture different from any other written work.  It’s part of a series on The Big Questions of life.  Mike calls this message… What’s So Special About the Bible?

What’s So Special About the Bible? In the classic children’s game of telephone, one person whispers a phrase into the ear of someone else. As the message gets passed, repeated and retold along a line of ears, the words often become hopelessly jumbled and the meaning is lost altogether! Unfortunately, many people believe the Bible to be this way — a confusing tangle of hearsay. On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez continues a series called "The Big Questions" and highlights the credibility of Scripture.
