Reaching People For Christ

When it comes to finding a church, we have many different options. Some churches are more conservative in their services. Other congregations are geared to those who are more expressive in their worship and style. But regardless of the differences, all churches should have one primary purpose. On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez explains that the central component of a healthy church is helping its members meet The Big Assignment.

Responding to the King of KingsHaving an authority figure over us is nothing new. Police officers are the government’s agents for establishing safety and peace. Our employer has final say over the affairs of the workplace. But at the end of the day, who is the one calling the shots in your life? On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez reminds us that as followers of Christ we’re under allegiance to the Ultimate Authority. We’re picking up where we left off in the previous message.

Responding to the King of KingsWhen someone below us on the corporate ladder gives us a task, we may disregard the instruction altogether. But if our boss is giving the ordersthen we’d be wise to listen and get the task done! On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez begins a new series he calls The Big Assignment. Before we talk about the nature of the exciting mission we’ve been given, it’s important to recognize Who gave us the orders in the first place.

As Christians, we often deal with tough issues and difficult questions. And if you ever wanted to raise your hand and get some guidance now’s your chance! On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez provides biblical answers to common questions we have about God, the Bible and our faith.

Is Christianity Really the Only Way?In each of the many religions of the world, we’ll find sincere people who faithfully follow what they’ve been taught. Yet two thousand years ago, a Jewish carpenter announced that He was the one and only way to salvation. If Jesus was right…where does that leave others who are trying to reach God through a different road? On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez points out the narrow path…and the wideness of God’s love. It’s the conclusion of a message called, "Is Christianity the Only Way?"

Is Christianity Really the Only Way?Speaking about Christians, some people may use words like, “narrow-minded,” “intolerant” or even “prejudiced.” In a culture that values tolerance… and stresses that all beliefs have merit… Christians can sound stubbornly rigid by claiming that Jesus is the only way to God.  On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez studies the words of Jesus’ to see if we’re distorting His message of salvation… or accurately understanding His teaching.  Few matters are as urgent as how to gain eternal life.  We’re answering the question… Is Christianity the Only Way?
