Why believe in Christ? Cold-case homicide detective J. Warner Wallace, along with his wife, Susie, explain that unreasonable faith believes something that's not true. Blind faith knows something is true, but can't prove it. Forensic faith, however, is having good evidence that something is true and believing it. That's where we want our kids to be as they understand the Scriptures.

J. Warner and Susie Wallace, authors of Cold-Case Christianity and Cold-Case Christianity for Kids, recall how they investigated the Gospels and eventually believed that what the Scriptures said about God and their own condition and needs was true.

The admonishment of Ephesians 4 to put off the old and put on the new applies in unique ways to blended families. Pastor Tim Lundy concludes his message on Ephesians 4.
August 22, 2017
Ephesians 4 teaches that, for those of us who are in Christ, we are not stuck in our old way of life, wallowing in our brokenness. But coming out of it doesn't happen automatically. We must embrace the process by putting off the old way of life and putting on who we are in Christ. Tim Lundy, lead pastor of Christ Community Church in Little Rock, shares a message to blended families from this Scripture.

Barrett and Jenifer Johnson, authors of "The Talks," speak to parents about teen dating. The Johnsons encourage parents to recognize their responsibility in helping to protect their children's hearts and communicating their family's values about dating long before their children are old enough to date.

Barrett and Jenifer Johnson, founders of I.N.F.O. for Families, tell why it's important for parents to share God's perspective on sex with their children. Most parents focus only on telling their kids why they shouldn't have sex, instead of telling them why sex with their spouse is worth waiting for. The sex talk parents dread needs to become a series of talks about a variety of issues: body image, protecting your body, the problem of porn, and God's design for sex.
