We often hear Isaiah 9:6 during the Christmas season. It is part of Handel's Messiah. Each name describes a gift that God gives to us in Christ Jesus. And Christ, who bears those names, ministers to us in four separate ways. He is Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Each of these names matches our needs. Dr. Boice looks at each one because together they describe the magnitude of this wonderful gift which God has given us in Jesus Christ at Christmas time.
