We should not be afraid to ask difficult questions. No matter the level of conflict or how divisive those questions may be. I must agree wholeheartedly with Thomas Jefferson who said: “Question with boldness even the existence of God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear.” Especially the doctrines of the church that contradict each other according to their theological inclinations or denominations must be questioned to arrive at the truth.
