What Should be Our Greatest Concern as a Nation? Part 2

August 28, 2015
Many are the challenges that we face as a nation and in the world, but it is impossible to fix our attention on everything so where should our priority be? Who is the most responsible for the condition of the world and our nation? We learn from 2 Chronicles 7:14 that it is God's people who bear the burden for this chaos and it also tells us how we can reverse the damage of sin upon our land.

Turning away from sin is an act of the highest level of intelligence, forsaking not only sin but also Satan’s ideas and culture is the best accomplishment of all. A declared commitment to the Lordship of Christ and his saving grace as well as accepting unconditionally the sovereignty of God’s moral absolutes, followed with daily progressive transformation by the renewal of the mind, can only produce great results.

Faith goes in both directions for and against God and His revealed truth. We must take notice that denial of God as Creator demands greater faith in how the universe, the world with all the physical laws came into existence than what the Bible requires from humans. Biblical Christians have no problem because they do believe in God, but humanist intellectuals have this dilemma that must be answered satisfactorily.

Those who deny God’s existence do so to justified their interpretation of social life and the world.  They think their intellect is on the right track to interpret order, direction and meaning, and yet the outcome always ends in chaos. Let us think for a moment how irrational these ideas are to drop the scales from the eyes of our understanding.

Jesus is the only true liberator of humanity; of course this doesn't go well with those of opposing worldviews, nonetheless it doesn't stop the truth from advancing from generation to generation. Humans more often than not choose to blind themselves to God's truth and in so doing reap the consequences.

How easily those who are acknowledged as intellectuals can deceive people. For the most part, people take these so-called intellectuals' knowledge at face value. They don't even so much as compare their views with what has already been proven. Never mind that their recycled ideas for social development have already been proven so destructive throughout history. This is threatening a world collapse.

God's love is not unconditional. In order for any person to have a right standing with God there must be a clear understanding about the most basic nature of the relationships between repentance, faith, Christ's Lordship, and remain as a committed disciple or a true son or daughter of God.

Accommodating things by distorting God’s love and making life issues unconditional, is man-made and brings a fatal twist of God’s moral absolutes. Anyone who believes and so teaches others that only sincere faith is all that God requires for His total acceptance and a pass to heaven, needs to learn what Jesus asserted on this issue.

If God loves people unconditionally, no matter what they do and how they live, why did He create hell?  If there are no conditions would God be justified in punishing anyone?

Ohio Gov. John Kasich was asked how he would explain his opposition to gay marriage to a hypothetical gay son or lesbian daughter. He explained that while he believes in traditional marriage, his faith tells him to be loving and accepting of all. How many millions of Christians believe as Ohio Gov. John Kasich? Does God really give us unconditional love no matter what we do and how we live? Is this a true picture of the loving God of the Bible?

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
