It is not enough for Christianity to celebrated Easter for almost two thousand years without fully understanding the impact the event had in altering all of human history.  What percentage of Christians even come close to full comprehension? We know many religious beliefs exist in the world and they are applied to the cultures of the nations.  Not knowing God's truth does not exempt us from being held accountable.  We  must know the Scriptures and the power of God to comprehend the true meaning of Easter.

As we ponder on the happenings of Christ's last week on earth known as the Passion Week, a week that truly fundamentally transformed the world, we will see that the condition of the human race has not learned from those events that we cannot substitute or pervert God's ways without feeling the impact.

If you are a student of history, you will see a pattern repeated many times, that is, that societies exchange one form of tyrannical government for another when they refuse to govern themselves God's way.  America was birthed on biblical principles while fleeing from a tyrannical government.  But no honest person will deny that we are no longer living upon those principles.  Is there hope for America? C.S. Lewis gave this advice: "We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive."

These days many Christians are rethinking their role in American politics.  By this I mean that many who stayed on the sidelines in the past are now entering the political arena.  Why? We are all sensing that America is in trouble and we need to fight for the soul of our nation but many don’t know quite how to sort it all out or even if Christians should get involved.

Every Christian in America should easily be able to discern between a biblical worldview and an ungodly worldview.  In America clearly the ungodly worldview is dominant and gaining more and more momentum.  It has been allowed to take over.  It is because Christians have lost the focus that obeying God's requirements brings all the peace, security and provisions we could possibly need in this world not only in the hereafter.  It has become more easy to believe in God than to believe God and what He has established for our well-being here on earth as it is in heaven.

Dr. Carson: "We need to have good health care for everybody. It’s the most important thing that a person can have. Money means nothing, titles mean nothing when you don’t have your health, but we’ve got to figure out efficient ways to do it. We spend a lot of money on health care, twice as much per capita as anybody in else in the world, and yet not very efficient. What can we do?" Carson offered very viable solutions that make all the sense in the world.  Healthcare doesn't have to be this monstrously complicated dilemma we are now facing.

In Dr. Carson's speech he touched the subject of our taxation system.  He said, "When I pick up my Bible, you know what I see? I see the fairest individual in the Universe, God, and he’s given us a system. It’s called tithe."  What would happen if the United States started to obey God in implementing only 10% in taxation? How soon could we get back on track with getting out of debt? How soon would we see job creation increase by leaps and bounds? Wouldn't you like to see this happen?

There is a wrong way and a right way to do things.  Dr. Carson clearly pointed out to Obama many things he is doing wrong and he emphasized that God is the only one with the true wisdom to give us the right solutions to our dilemmas.  Let us learn from Dr. Carson's boldness to declare the truth we know to be true.  For we have "the mind of Christ".  (I Corinthians 2:16)

With God’s help we can we fix this nation. We have some of the most intellectually gifted people leading our Nation. All we need to do is remember what our real responsibilities are so that we can solve the problems. Think about these problems in the first person and your role in solving them. Our model is Jesus. He used parables to help people understand things. His wisdom is at our disposal and we can do the same

Dr. Carson reminds his audience that the Roman Empire destroyed itself from within. Why is it so important that we educate our people? Because we don’t want to go down the pathway as so many pinnacle nations that have preceded us. He said. "I think particularly about ancient Rome. Very powerful. Nobody could even challenge them militarily, but what happened to them? They destroyed themselves from within. Moral decay, fiscal irresponsibility. They destroyed themselves. If you don’t think that can happen to America, you get out your books and you start reading, but you know, we can fix it."

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.

Nena Arias

Is one of thirteen siblings; born, raised and educated in California. She was brought up in a Christian home, however her personal commitment to Christ happened at the age of seventeen which also included a simultaneous call to missionary work which she embraced with her whole heart. She answered this call and up until the present is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ramon. Nena is an accomplished singer/minister and conference speaker. Her ministry for the last 40 years has taken her to several continents and nations such as, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Canada and all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
