The Root Cause of Cultural Instability Part 3

December 14, 2016
It is very important to understand how brief life is in this world and what we live for. There is a slogan that says: "He who dies with the most toys wins.” This expression reveals the cultural values most people live by. In all fairness, the pursuit of things is the predominant characteristic of human nature throughout history. But what makes it acceptable or not acceptable?

For over 200 years God has been warning and judging America. He is patiently waiting for His people to break away from being double-minded and correct their evil ways.  Let us pray we don’t abuse God’s grace by thinking He just has to put up with our national wavering between two opinions or worldviews.

Why are cultures unstable? Where does social instability originate? What or who creates instability? What are the effects of instability? Can instability be overcome and by what means? These are questions that are important to know the answers to.

If Christians keep in focus that sin is the origin of all the instability, misery, death, mistrust, and all kinds of cyclical setbacks and distortions in the world, then biblical Christianity will become relevant in all areas of life like it was designed to do. But all too often God's people are the missing link because they fail to manifest to the world the benefits of the coming of Christ to earth to redeem all that was lost.

Jesus paid a high price to redeem us from our sins and offered himself to God the Father as a ransom by dying on the cross where He received the punishment of the debt we owed. Let us not forget that Satan and all his fallen angels are created beings like we are; this is to say it is impossible for Satan to keep the light of God and Jesus away from penetrating his culture of darkness. The real meaning of Christmas is this great hope for humanity here and now.

Satan is the father of evil and opposes God and seeks to frustrate His plans and lead the human race into rebellion. Satan and his host of fallen Angels that were kicked out of heaven are well organized. The human battles and conflicts have their origin against powerful spiritual powers and authorities. These beings are cunning in nature. Which is why Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

All scientists, evolutionists, and creationists, agree in the uniqueness of planet Earth. As we already noticed, the disagreement comes in the rejection as well as acceptance that God designed earth for one purpose—life.

In the midst of world turmoil, there is a time of the year that reminds a great portion of the population on earth about peace, joy, love and giving and that is the spirit of Christmas. On the other hand, there’s no denial that it also stirs up controversies, unhappiness, greed, hate, dissatisfaction and many other ill wills. And let us not forget the many discussions within Christianity related to the Christmas celebration. So, what is the missing link between these two extremes?

We live in a moral universe, and we need to understand that the moral judgment of God is a reality in the present and in the final judgment. God’s morality rules the universe, heaven, and hell. We cannot escape from this reality. We choose which life we want for the here and now and for all eternity.

Humans are conscious that they need social salvation, but man cannot save humanity. However, in Christ we can impact our world for the better because we become a new creation with the ability to do the God-kind of good works that do benefit humanity in ways that truly count. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV).

God created Adam and Eve as free moral agents, not as slaves or puppets. But freedom doesn’t mean that you can do what you want without consequences. What then was the reason for the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Why the prohibition? As we analyze this we must not lose sight of the fact that God will never commit evil; His moral nature is consistence with His character.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
