The Responsibility of Our True Citizenship, Part 2

August 5, 2014
Everyone is born in a country that gives them a citizenship, a right to belong with rights, privileges and benefits that come with that citizenship. Most people are very proud of their sense of nationality. But there is a citizenship that is far greater and a higher calling with benefits and rewards not only here on earth but also throughout eternity.

Every human being is a citizen of a nation by birth or naturalization this makes him or her distinct from a foreigner. Believe it or not, most people do not understand that a citizenship comes with rights, privileges and responsibilities. Most people focus on the first two: rights and privileges but ignore or reject the responsibility part.

Mrs. Pelosi wants us to believe baby Jesus was a refugee in Egypt, and Pharaoh’s family helped baby Moses and that is the basis to accept the illegal immigrants, which are now overwhelming the U.S. southern border. She is the same person that condemns politicians who are pro-life for using the Bible because for her it is okay to kill babies from conception even though science, morality and biblical law are against her judgment. Now she plays her Bible knowledge card to justify breaking of the law.  How convenient.

Nancy Pelosi, in a feeble attempt to justify her stance on illegal immigration, quoted the instance of Jesus and his family having to flee to Egypt to protect his life. Joseph received a specific dream-revelation to leave Bethlehem with his family. What Pelosi and others fail to understand is that there was no need to violate border-crossing laws, Egypt was under the Roman Empire dominance, and people were free to go in and out throughout the empire. Her application of the Bible account in this matter, needless to say, does not apply.

Have you noticed that liberal Democrats conveniently use the Bible when they want to get a point across but totally and aggressively come against it when others use the Bible to their destructive and evil liberal agenda? We recently saw a classic example when Nancy Pelosi heard something from the conference of Catholic Bishops that, according to them, can conveniently be applied to justify the flood of illegals that are coming to our southern border. The twisted theology of Nancy Pelosi has "good company" in the Catholic Bishops.

When supporters of those who break the law by illegally crossing the border (whether by land, air or sea) and defend amnesty as “the right thing to do,” in reality what they are doing is advocating lawlessness. They do not care that immigration laws are in place, and there is no need for new ones to be legislated in efforts to reform it.  A wrong can never make a right, even if man says it is or implements immoral laws to justify that wrong.

When people put material or temporal things above knowing God and His perfect plan for their lives, this always produces destruction, even in the midst of material gain. When people break civil laws of immigration with material gain in mind regardless of how the cost affects the nation, this can never have a perfect outcome. The nation that allows itself to be overrun by illegal immigrants, will always lose in the end.
July 25, 2014
Christians should not be advocates of mass amnesty for those who break the law. By doing so, they contribute to the moral decline and downfall of the nation. Every Christian should not attempt to be a lawbreaker rather they should be responsible for allowing God to give them His knowledge, understanding and wisdom in their homeland to prosper by applying his ethics as they believe Him, His promises and apply the principles of a good work ethic.

Illegal immigration is an invasion and imposition upon a society’s social and economic stability not only is it not right but also in no way can it be justifiable, it is morally wrong. Historically every society or nation in the world faces great difficulties and hardships. However, there are no rights for individuals to cross illegally on to another’s property to steal regardless of how hungry they may be.

When the civil government forces people to be merciful and taxes them, this develops into a never-ending conflict. The reason government is always willing to apply its form of mercy is because it will always charge the citizens for it. What is God's answer to this?
July 22, 2014
Illegal immigration is exploding in many parts of the world such as Europe, Australia and the United States, notice all are going to what is known as first world nations. The reasons are obvious even though they may differ. Nonetheless people are moving out of their countries due to poverty, war, revolutions, persecution and many more social illnesses produced by socialism, religion and other ideologies that put people under bondage, extreme poverty, make them subject to corruption, insecurity, and social casts. How do we adequately face this dilemma?

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
