The Requirements for National Prosperity Part 1

April 14, 2009
The nation’s economy, like that of many nations, reveals people’s priorities and motives in the use of money. For over 30 years I have pointed out that money is governed by laws other than economics, those laws are spiritual and moral and if not understood leads to corruption. Humanist thinking rejects these laws that govern economics so it is no surprise to see corruption manifest itself in all levels of society whether it be individual or corporate.

Easter Sunday is a big event in Christian churches demonstrated through special music, Passion plays, messages that remind us of Christ’s resurrection and his glorious victory over death; Jesus is the risen Savior!!! Without his resurrection Christianity would be just one more religion keeping people away from the knowledge of understanding how life and the world should function adequately.

After Jesus was arrested he had three trials, with the Sanhedrin, Pilate, Herod and back to Pilate who finally approved His death sentence. Jesus declared "My kingdom is not of this world." This clearly meant that His Kingdom and His authority were not given by men. Every human being will decide if the Kingdom of God will reign in their life or the opinions of men.

In the series of events registered in the Gospel of John which occurred on a day like this almost two thousand years ago, days just before the crucifixion, was Jesus' intercessory prayer for the unity among His people which has yet to be fulfilled.

Imagine the Jews' reaction when Jesus told them in clear words that God was going to end national Israel as His special people in the Kingdom. Jesus reacts to the Gentile centurion's faith "I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of heaven, while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matt. 8:1-12.

As the religious leaders saw the mighty works that Jesus was performing, jealousy was awaken within them and they sought to discredit and destroy Jesus. In the natural, it was easy to understand why the leadership would be confused since Jesus broke all the molds known to them. Here is this man using a higher authority than theirs; where did it come from?

What does the cleansing of the Temple by Jesus mean to us in the times we are living in? Should we be exercising some of the same authority manifested by Jesus in our Christian circles to cleanse them of wrong teachings that are repeated so often and pretty soon falsehoods are taken as gospel truth. Is it time for us to cleanse our places of worship?

What do Christians celebrate on Palm Sunday? How can we interpret its meaning in our times to learn from this example of Jesus? The people greeted him with waving palm branches, and covered his path with palm branches and so offered a salutation to honor a king. Why did he allow it? Jesus never lost sight of his earthly mission and was perfectly aware of the succession of events that were to follow, yet he faced them with great resolve.

The Kingdom of God and His justice is the main theme of Jesus' message in his earthly ministry. He brought healing and redemption of all that was lost through sin. Who decides what is right and what is wrong? Who has the last word on social justice? Jesus said the kingdom of God has arrived. The kingdom of God is the only true social force. Time to stop violating His order; no more baby killings in the name of science!

The world is in crisis and we all know it. Especially Christians should be aware of world conditions. The world is bankrupt--and I don't mean economically--it is a moral bankruptcy due to sin. Sooner or later God has to judge the actions of men. Are you ready to face God's judgment? In times of God's visitations of judgment, we better know our God!

Who determines the value of human life? We have enough evidence throughout history to demonstrate that man does not have the capacity in his own knowledge and wisdom to determine the value of human life, what evidence you may ask? The evidence of atrocities committed against other humans. God is the only one who reveals the value of human life and the sanctions he established against those who disregard this precious gift.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
