In our analysis of the National Monument to the Forefathers, a very important aspect of Lady Faith holding a copy of the Geneva Bible is of vital importance because it was the Bible of the Pilgrims. It contains annotations of the Reformers of the 16th Century and was produced in 1560 in English without the need for the authorization of England or Rome, this is the Geneva Bible, probably the most important tool in the building the original foundation of America.

The uniqueness of the Bible is that the pages are partially fanning open, indicating that true faith comes from the Living Word of God. The Bible is not meant to be a decorative piece, neither is it to be ignored, it must be read, meditated upon, STUDIED AND APPLIED!

Another inscription on this all-important Plymouth monument reads as follows: "National Monument to the Forefathers. Erected by a grateful people in remembrance of their labors, sacrifices and sufferings for the cause of civil and religious liberty." The heroic sacrifices of the Pilgrims set the foundation for what later became America. They exemplified the price to be paid for freedom from religious persecution and a place to settle and worship God in a way they saw fit. The social and legal systems of the colony had, as their foundation, the biblical worldview. How much are we willing to pay in the 21st Century to restore those biblical values.

This is a significant monument to remind America and the world how true freedom is built and if it is ever lost how to regain it. There is no other way to turn America around, every other attempt has failed and will continue to fail. The monument is a reminder to the world, not just America, of the only way to the successful strategy that has ever worked.

Their purpose is to remember and show respect towards a person, events, and group of people or special places. Monuments tell a story and reveal the history and culture of a nation.  What message has America forgotten that is represented in the monument we are going to analyze?

In his State of the Union speech, Obama said, “I have no more campaigns to run. My only agenda for the next two years is the same as the one I’ve had since the day I swore an oath on the steps of this Capitol — to do what I believe is best for America.” That is false, nowhere in the Oath of office for the presidency of the United States does it say that the president gets to do what he believes is best for America. The Oath does say he must uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. We are clearly seeing that democracy is the road to socialism.

Tuesday night, at the State of the Union Address, America was reminded, again, that Karl Marx’ ideas are alive and well in America. The Fundamental Transformation of our country marches on. Obama demanded Americans "pay their fair share" to pay for his wish list so he can be known as the most generous daddy government. He wants goodies to dole out, out of the goodness of his heart.

It has been proven that The Supreme Court can interpret whatever they want without being challenged by the other two branches of government that constantly forfeit their duty to check and balance each other. Nine unelected officials have brought so much pain and destruction to the nation by imposing their life’s views on the rest of us. Thomas Jefferson said: "...The Constitution,... is a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary, which they may twist and shape into any form they please.”

Can you imagine what world we could have if every born again believer in Christ understands this unchanged truth? You cannot wait for others to train you in developing God’s Character it is a task you must do. We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. Nena Arias

Is one of thirteen siblings; born, raised and educated in California. She was brought up in a Christian home, however her personal commitment to Christ happened at the age of seventeen which also included a simultaneous call to missionary work which she embraced with her whole heart. She answered this call and up until the present is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ramon. Nena is an accomplished singer/minister and conference speaker. Her ministry for the last 40 years has taken her to several continents and nations such as, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Canada and all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
